These days, its hard keep a sense of humor, especially when discussing the topic of snow and ice, but there are many advantages to mother nature's fury. I'm not talking about skiing, snowboarding, sleigh riding, sliding or even ice skating. I'm talking about ice and snow sculptures. Now a global phenomenon, sculpting is taking on a art form all its own, especially when it comes to global festivals and competitions. Each year, in frigid northeastern China, in the city of Harbin, its host it's International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival. Showcasing some of the best sculptures in the world, many people take with them their creative power. Its amazing at night, viewers can witness some illuminating display from inside and outside the sculptures. The next time it snows, tweak your brain power, take your kids to the nearest park, so they can turn on their imagination.
