Happy St. Paddy's Day- The Leprechaun We've Grown to Love

Do you remember, looking at your general mills cereal box of Lucky Charms, and wondering , how they came up with this character, the Leprechaun. Here are some facts you may not know.  This fairytale character is to believed to be a  mischief elf, usually conceived as a shoemaker and believed to reveal the hiding place of treasure. The leprechaun has been described in Irish folklore as "about three feet high, and is dressed in a little red jacket or roundabout, with red breeches buckled at the knee, gray or black stockings, and a hat, cocked in the style of a century ago, over a little, old, withered face. Over my 30 years, I have witnessed some classic commercials revealing the myth of what is a box of "magically delicious" Lucky Charms. Over the five decades, you can go back and see the evolution of  what makes each generation fall in love with this pint size figure of life. To this day. I reflect on my childhood  and wonder, what made the cereal so magically delicious. I have to say, It was the Leprechaun. lol. Happy St Patricks Day.
