Known for teen epics such as The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Home Alone, his direction in film making, made you truly see what teens and children went through during those times.  Most importantly how we can identify ourselves with those characters. He was remembered as scripting some of the biggest hits of the 80' and 90's. What people fail to remember, his remains in film making, emphasis cues on pop songs.
