Generation X has spoken!!

Generation X has spoken! And democracy has spread vastly around the world and the country once again! As president elected Barrack Obama becomes the first African-American president elected in US history. But with great hurdles and challenges, comes optimism. Suggesting President elected Barrack Obama might be way over his head, as he leads the country out of one of the worst financial crisis, since the great depression. Many are still in shock and awe, while others are saying this might be too great of a task for the inexperienced Barrack Obama to handle. Considering the history of politicks and how it plays an intricate role in elections past. How can someone who served the state legislator for seven years be equipped to deliver change and hope to America? Whether or not we are positive he’s the right person for the job, Change is here! And Barrack Obama will get the opportunity to showcase his great belief and utterance he has been implying to the American people for the next four to eight years. If this doesn’t play out to be the perfect story ending we were intended. Our future outlook on the country and politics as a whole might be in jeopardy, as many citizens will start to contemplate the factor of being suckered in by politicians dressed in well tailored suits, with the gift of gab, and an undeniable swagger. Being an immigrant of Jamaica, the dream that was once promised to me, eluded me, but has resurfaced with great confidence once more. But knowing the track record of history, one can’t help, but wonder, is this another poly to take advantage of a vulnerable state of the country, therefore exploiting the only thing we have left. Hope! Only time we tell…
