Remembering The Dream And The Dreamer... Dr. Martin Luther King Jr

As we observe this day, lets take the time to remember a great human being, who fought for the rights of all people. No matter what race, background, religious upbringing, or gender. He was a leader, who stood up against injustice, and took a stand and fought for all people, in a peaceful and organized manner. Especially for those who were being treated unfairly. Against a system, that oppressed and bullied its citizens, that didn't have a voice. Over the years, progression has been made in great leaps and bounds, but we still have long ways to go.  But it was of this dreamer, who had this vision, that enabled all people  to look deep inside themselves  and realize that we are greater beyond measures. His life was cut short, by someone who was trying kill his dream, but his dream lingers on today.  We as a people must continue his legacy, so his prophecy will be fulfilled. Here is his famous "I have a dream" speech where it all happened. Enjoy

The newest model of Futuristic Bubble Cars, the segway scooter is providing environmental solution to the Hugh global warming problems. The little two-seater, employing the same balancing-act technology as the segway scooter, sheds the two-wheeled scooter's nerdy Mall Cop image for a Pac-Man-esque bubble design. The electrical movement is about to take place, and its going to take on a whole different dynamic on the way we look at cars from the past. Take a look at the latest model that is currently being test for the possibility of future use and exploration.

When Life Gives You Snow and Ice, Make Sculptures

These days, its hard  keep a sense of humor, especially when discussing the topic of snow and ice, but there are many advantages to mother nature's fury. I'm not talking about skiing, snowboarding, sleigh riding, sliding or even ice skating. I'm talking about ice and snow sculptures. Now a global phenomenon, sculpting is taking on a art form all its own, especially when it comes to global festivals and competitions. Each year, in frigid northeastern China, in the city of Harbin, its host it's International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival. Showcasing some of the best sculptures in the world, many people take with them their creative power. Its amazing at night, viewers can witness some illuminating display from inside and outside the sculptures. The next time it snows, tweak your brain power,  take your kids to the nearest park, so they can turn on their imagination. Your children would love you for that...:) Here is a site that I found, that will help you get started.
Enjoy!!!!

Appreciating The Subways Even More

I am sure some of you, when rushing to catch the next train on the BCF subway lines, has never taken the time to stop and observe the beauty of the subway. Forget about the rats, roaches and invested train lines, take the time to observe the walls around you, and uncover some amazing art work, accomplished by some prolific artists. Graffiti Art is become huge contributor to major cities in a major way, especially in states such as New York, Chicago, Los Angles, DC and Philadelphia. Its now taken on a competitive spirit, in global competitions around the world. Once known as a major way of expression, especially with the evolution of Hip Hop. Its slowly disappearing with the commercialism of  music. There are some, who continue to keep the Art alive...

Here  is a site that I found....http://www.doobybrain.com/2009/06/12/subway-art-on-the-new-york-times-lens-blog/

He was remembered as scripting some of the biggest hits of the 80' and 90's. What people fail to remember, his remains in film making, emphasis cues on pop songs.
