The world's tallest lego tower with more than 50,000 bricks stands in front of Seoul's Olympic Stadium. The lego tower measuring 31.9 meters took five days to build and broke the previous record set in France at 31.6 meters

One Man's Quest to Be Penniless

In these times of  economical hardships, many are dealing with the problems of not having  money, or jobless in their own way, but here's a man who took it on himself to do the unthinkable. Daniel Suelo has no job and no bank account and is happy being broke, but many of you are wondering? Many of you think this person is out of his mind. He decided to go his own route in 2000 while many think he is a litte bit bizarre. He notes that he is a man that enjoys his own freedom of  not having to dealing with the stress of everyday life. He recently published a book in March, called The Man Who Quit Money. He credits the idea of his book, based on financial crash of 2008, and the question of why people value money. World Largest Recyclying Bin In NYC

The big apple revealed the worlds largest recycling bin in an effort to step up its efforts, on environmental awareness. Known as the Honest Tea organization, the  group organized a recycling bin which stands at 30 foot tall was revealed in Times Square. The recycling bin is the world largest, who supports the goal of collecting as many plastic, glass, and aluminum containers as possible. With this month being Earth Month,in effort to educated the younger generation, the goal is to collect materials which will  be recycled into a garden supplies that students will use in their Harlem neighborhoods, which will be used in their urban garden,  This new project hopes to have a  positive influence on the urban community. Who would of thought!  Finding new innovative ways of using renewable materials, can empower and youth and teach them how fun it is to work together and change  the world in a positive way... Earth Day 2012

 

Yesterday, marked a eventful  and  pivotal time in our world, where everyone in the world,  has to be concern and aware of the growing problems facing our planet. Global warming is an ongoing issue, which means rising waters continuing to rise causing animals to be endangered or extinct. The ozone layer which protects us from the sun, is depleting at a  fast rate. Large consumptions of plastic and foam is washing onto our shores, casing pollution and harm to the creatures of the sea . The nuclear plants that are bringing us energy to our homes, are dumping toxic waste into our ocean, which means our drinking waters are now contaminated with toxic waste. As an effort to step up global awareness, we must educate our youth about the importance of energy conservations, planting crops, finding creative ways to bring about new sources of energy. By doing these things, we  showing others that we care abut our planet. Change starts with each person. Do the little things that are important. turn off the light when you leave the room, take shorter showers, bring a Thermos with you, and refill it, that way, we can cut back on beverages that are sold in plastic and and foam containers. Battery chargers saves  a great purpose to conserve energy, low watt bulbs. When it comes to transportation, hybrid cars are the way to go, but if you don't have a car. don't be ashamed, using public transportation is a great way to reduce toxins fumes in the atmosphere. Don't forget,a pumping heart is a healthy heart, long walks, and bike riding, is a great way to reduce obesity and live a long a healthy life. We must not forget the purpose of why the earth is here in the first place, we must share the knowledge of what God bestoled upon us, and put back what we found. Growing trees, Finding new ways of  renewable energy, can  make the earth a place we can all enjoy, insead of just taking, and not recyling what we found. If not, then we let down the future generations that look forward  to a life of joy and happiness. One  Love yall.

We  live in  age, where ideas, culture, and technology, shines light on many issues, such as politics, our  government and how our society works today.There are some, who are willing to explore, and go beyond what they know, and give up all that know,so their voices can be heard, loudly and clearly. Statement: It could of been anyone of of us that night, that's why as citizens of this nation we need to be aware of the issues and the laws that govern us, and push for a better America.

"I am Treyvon Martin" are the shirts that many are wearing, in an effort to shed light on matters that affect us today, as more and more information is leaked to the public on the night Treyvon Martin was shot. Many in the public eye has voiced their opinions on that fatal night and how that plays an important role on parenting and the society we live in. What does this case bring to light? Racial issues that we've swept under the rug for decades or does this  have to do with  the laws that protect our citizens.
