The Haunted Hostel...... Halloween Edition

There once was a haunted hostel, which stood from a top of the mountain, From the outside, it was a thing of beauty, but from the inside, it was a different story, it appeared to be dark and spooky, everyone that passed by, thought it was a place of mystery, Outside the gate, there was a Russian spartan, dress in black, his appearance was remarkable, no one knew his name, but he wanted it  that way, Go inside, and uncover the crazy witch , if you push the door bell, a spider will come down, and give it fits, take the grand tour, and check out the mirror of  horrors, Uncover a Minnesota Viking, sharping his sword, and feeding his victims. In the back of the hostel, there´s a separate room, laying inside, a mummy laying his tomb, If you make the slightest noise, it will come out to boo, next to the garden, there lies a dungeon, inside laid a sleeping dragon, Everyday was a different adventure, come back tomorrow, as we continue the tour.

Ready For Blast Off in 2011

For those of you looking for a little altitude adjustment, and soar to the skies, there is a new invention hitting the market, which will make it more for appeaseable for people  to travel. The Jet back will be constructed from Carbon fiber composites of 250lbs, with safety equipment. Will you will  arrive to work on time? Yes because traffic control will be more efficient, because people have more options to get to work. You thought the Jet sons were a cartoon, now we are living like the Jet son. Martin Aircraft will release the first commercially-available jet pack in 2011 with a price of around $90,000.I think that's pretty cool...

Why Dreaming Is Important

Dreams are important because they give you vision. They provide direction for your life and something to work toward. Dreams help you create a big picture for your life. You don't have to accept your "fate" or "destiny." Instead, you can create it. To do this, create a big picture for your life via your dreams and aspirations. Have a picture of where you'll be physically, financially, mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually within a certain amount of time. This will keep you focused on these aspirations and keep you from wandering aimlessly through life, asking yourself what you have to show for it. Make your life's big picture as challenging as you can handle. Make it purposeful and clear, so your mind has something to grasp and work toward. Louisa May Alcott said, "Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and follow where they lead." Keep this in mind, and know you tried your best, even if you don't realize all your dreams.Another reason why dreams are important is because they create possibilities you may not consciously consider. That is, you're not afraid to dream, because you know it's "just a dream." However, subconsciously, your mind believes your dreams. So, if you let them, these possibilities will take root in your subconscious mind and eventually manifest themselves. This is when and how dreams become realities.

People will know you are Jamaican if...

You can't say "three" or "thing" ... you instead say "tree" and "ting".

You can distinguish between "cocoa-tea" "bush-tea", and "green-tea".

When someone sympathizes with you, you comment "Yuh tink seh it easy?"

You say words like Heg (instead of Egg); Hingland (instead of England)

You point with your lips.

You give directions with your hands, even if it is in another state.

You go to parties for the food and drink and then cuss after wards when the food and drink run out.

You address all the Chinese at the local shop as "Mr. Chin" or "Ms Chin".

You nod your head upwards to greet someone.

You always find yourself standing next to plenty of luggage and boxes at the airport.

When you travel home, you bring an extra suitcase going down, it has none of your clothes; returning, it has food.

You hate to throw away empty containers as they might come in handy for pepper sauce or "green seasonings".

You have one big pot you call curry pot when you are not even cooking curry.

You have another pot you called "dutch pot".

You say "bwoy" at the beginning of a sentence and "man" at the end of it.

You always hang something on your rear view mirror.

You put pepper sauce on everything for the taste.

You think eating ackee and saltfish, plantain and fried dumplings are a great morning breakfast.

You can't go a week without a rice dish.

You chew and suck out all the marrow from the chicken bone and then pick out your teeth after wards.

You bring home food from a party (enough for your breakfast the next morning, your lunch and your dinner!)

You chew the ice when you finish your drinks.

You must put dumplings in all soups.

You show disapproval by sucking your teeth.

You have a dishwasher in the house and only use it for special occasions.

You have a thyme (or mint) bush growing somewhere in your yard.
