Couquering More Than Just The Mountain Top

This past Sunday, I decided to overcome my fear, and stare it right in the face! Along with Leah, Travis and  Ruby, we climbed  the second highest point in Costa Rica. Cruz-de-Alajuelita is a mountain standing high above the surrounding areas, with small summit area, steep slopes and local relief of 16.8km. Early that Sunday morning, we were unsure whether or not if we were going to go,because of the unpredictability of the weather. We procrastinated for about an hour an a half, before the clouds gave away, and we decided to go. Two bus rides later, we arrived at La Cruz. Once we got there, we took a small rocky road to the path that lead to the  crosses. Not wearing the proper attire, I was a little nervous and apprehensive  whether or not I should go. This was a long time fear, and I wanted to overcome it. I decided to go with it, and gut it out, and walk up the narrow hilly path that led to the Mountain top. The four of us trotted up the hillside, before arriving to the first cross, that took roughly took about half an hour.From that point, we gazed from the above admiring the amazing view of Costa Rica. We building structures, trees, and roads the view was capitalizing. We decided to take a few minutes to soak in the view, and smoke to commemorate the moment. From above, we felt as if we were Kings and Queens, looking down at the tiny city that was before us. Fifteen minutes later, we decided to go to the second cross, but this time, it was a little more difficult, compared to the first. There were more climbing involved, more trees and objects in our way.Continuing our hike,we saw two men with dogs hunting rabbits. As the dogs scattered looking for rabbits. I suggest to the men that rabbits loved carrots, that would been a great bait fro them, as I we made a general reference to the Elmer Fuud and Bugs Bunny cartoon. They chuckled and laughed, as they  made light of the joke. We continued up the path, grabbing trees and bushes in our way, while taking our time climbing the rocky ledge. As we made our way up the second cross, my heart started to proud faster, as I realized the view from behind me was getting smaller and smaller. My fears started to build up, but I faced it with courage and kept climbing, not paying attention to the ledge that was to the left of me. As we got closer my heart started to pound faster, but the smoke from before simmered any anxiety I had. Climbing along the side and scooping the view, I realized it was nothing to be afraid of, because it was blessings, away from all the chaos and the madness below. Making our way to the cross, we took a deep breath and soaked in the atmosphere.We took a break, and prepare to eat our lunch . As I took one last gaze, the anxiety started to build again, Travis suggested for me to climb up to the steps to where he was sitting  and help him prepare the sandwich. We decided to take one last puff of smoke, as we took in the view. As I stood there above the city, looking over the edge, I realized, I came along way, not just conquering the mountain top, but life in general. It was diffidently the start of something new, with more challenges to come.

The Huanted Hostel Part 2.....

The following morning, there was the smell of boiling stew, kitchen packed as usual, with the same random crew, All through  hostel, there wasn´t a squeak, or even a single sound, except for a black cat, moving all around, It was an unsual morning, inside the kitchen, stomachs were growling. Downstairs in the basement, there was strange and smelly creature, from an alternate universe, others couldn´t understand it either, Next on the list, there was a passing nightingale, strutting its tail,  it seemed to have something to unveil. Sometimes at nights, close by a tree, there was a hooting owl, others loved its company, because it was always proud. Come back tomorrow, as I reveal the rest, and give you story, better in depth.

Many of us dream about having the formula to success, but are unsure about the right mechanism needed to attain it,because of our  constant reminders of  failure. There are many important steps necessary to have the formula of success, but there are two vital components needed, to put you over the edge. Perseverance is a huge factor. Which enables a person to have a fighting attitude, endurance, which enables a person to keep going, no matter  what the circumstances, and the fortitude to keep going, even when they are knocked down.Also the faith to trust in yourself and your abilities. The resolve is to come to terms and grips about ourselves and the mistakes we´ve made. They most important ingredient is to unlock the door with persistence, a person continuing efforts to reach to the land of eternal salvation, by striving and learning from their mistakes, A quote by Albert Einstein, Insanity is the act of doing the same thing over again, expecting the same results, so we should be able to learn from our mistakes, based on our persistence, to learn and grow as individuals. In the end, Success is build around the natural consequence of consistently applying the basic fundamentals of life, which is learning and growing.

Its been 69 days since a group of 33 miners got trapped inside a mine, as they had to wait for rescuers to come, and shuttle them up from a narrow shaft. Its an extraordinary, and compelling story about humanistic emotions, As miners look to their families, and their faith in God to guide them through. With each passing day, hour and second, hopes of anyone finding them, might have trickled through through their minds, once or twice, but not these survivors, who said,they were looking forward to seeing their love ones, one last time. The never lost faith and hope in anyone finding them, because they knew they will be rescued. Now survivors, they are heroes in their native county of Chile.

A Look Into The Future Knight Rider Style

Kid, this is Micheal, pull up next to the BMW cruising in the right lane, is something much of us heard about in the 80´s, when Knight Rider was popular TV show, but you might be saying the same exact thing, as automakers are now working on the first self driving cars, which will accelerate to speeds of 65mph by the year 2015. This sounds like a great idea, for those who welcoming the new idea, because your car can manage the tedious driving fro you, while you relax behind the wheel, because you had a long day at work, or you had a little too much to drink that night. What will this mean for human progression and development. This can reduce major accidents on the road, but with the new sensory systems, new laws can be passed for faulty auto installment. along with major traffic jams, that will stick with us for a while, because people will want to depend on their new navigational system too much at times, because its the new and hip thing. Surrounding Yourself with Positive Energy

In the quest for findings, Its important to surround ones self with positive energy. If you put yourself in the right frame of mind, your life can be less stressful and more fulfilling, because you surround yourself with the positive energy needed to succeed. The only thing that can hold you back  is your own self doubt. Surrounding yourself with positive imaginary can do wonders for your confidence, because you can listen to that inner voice, the keeps telling you, dont give up! Sometimes, you need that external voice telling you to keep going for the reassurance of your determination and confidence. There are many ways to keep on the track of positivity, such as, quotes, pictures, movies, or  even visuals or pictures of your ultimate goals or people you aspire to be like. Its important to surround yourself with people who are headed in the same direction, and  stay away from those naysayers that belittle your drive and ambitions, even close friends and family might contribute to this factor I call, hater syndrome. Use positive words in your daily speech, and plenty of inspirational words. With the use of  visuals and inspirational words  in use, your goal will be right in front of you for the taking.

The Haunted Hostel...... Halloween Edition

There once was a haunted hostel, which stood from a top of the mountain, From the outside, it was a thing of beauty, but from the inside, it was a different story, it appeared to be dark and spooky, everyone that passed by, thought it was a place of mystery, Outside the gate, there was a Russian spartan, dress in black, his appearance was remarkable, no one knew his name, but he wanted it  that way, Go inside, and uncover the crazy witch , if you push the door bell, a spider will come down, and give it fits, take the grand tour, and check out the mirror of  horrors, Uncover a Minnesota Viking, sharping his sword, and feeding his victims. In the back of the hostel, there´s a separate room, laying inside, a mummy laying his tomb, If you make the slightest noise, it will come out to boo, next to the garden, there lies a dungeon, inside laid a sleeping dragon, Everyday was a different adventure, come back tomorrow, as we continue the tour.
