Spray the town red: New York street art - video

Who said, communities can't come together.  New York's own, graffiti artist,  Meres One, shows us a slice of the city rarely seen by visitors – 5Pointz in Queens, the largest street art exhibit space in the world.  In my opinion,I think street art is under appreciated, because it brings  communities together, for the greater good of working together,  for therapeutic purposes, as well as  solutions, when it comes to   expressing oneself. . Enjoy...  http://www.guardian.co.uk/travel/video/2011/sep/20/new-york-street-art-graffiti-video

Jamaican Joke: The Jamaican On A Ship

On a ship an American, an English man, and a Jamaican were sailing. Suddenly the Devil appeared and said, "Drop something in the sea; if I find it I will eat you ... If I can't, then I will be your slave!"

The American dropped a diamond. The Devil quickly found it and ate him.

The English man dropped tiny platinum piece. The Devil found it and ate him too.

Now it's the Jamaican man's turn .... He proceeded to open a bottle of water, and poured it in the sea! His words to the Devil, "Yeah man, find that bloodclaat nuh!!! Yuh tink seh jamaicans a idiot?"

Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Youtube

We live in an age, where every step we make, is crucial, As the advancement of technology and communication is available across the spectrum. Thanks to Face book, Twitter, My space, and YouTube. We have the entire world in front of our grips. (Backtracking). I remember twenty years ago, when I use to write letters by hand, and sometimes waiting weeks for the letters to be delivered,  even sometimes  even wondering if  got delivered or got lost in the mail, but today, with the advancement of technology, we can sit down in front of computer screen and send a message to our friends, family, business clients, and have it delivered to us in a matter of seconds. A great progress for man, Yes! but are we taking it to the extreme? When I grew up, It was never as issue expression your thoughts and viewpoints on anything , but with these new technologies that are available, What you say and do can have long lasting  repercussions, especially when it comes to the  school, job and public sector of our choice. Everyone is in the public eye. On the other side of the argument, these great technologies,  helps us communicate with friends and family , and also  bring news, and happenings around the world. At the same time, we have a  growing problem, when it comes to  literacy around the world , because as each  generations come to  past, we fail to recognized that reading builds literacy, which will further push the envelope for educating one's mind,  For me. The social networking is so important in today's world, but we can't become lazy and comfortable and forget the elements of reading and education one's mind. We have to continue  to read, write and research  about the world around us , and beyond, because only then, we can reach beyond our expectations. Its the  ability to read, write, learn, and apply,  which will give us a better understanding, of what it truly means, to have the world at our fingertips.
