Festival De Las Artes In Costa Rica
On Sunday night, I took the opportunity to learn more about the festivities and arts of Costa Rica. Located just a little outside San Jose, in a town called, Gilberto Santa Rosa, in la Sabana. The placed was packed and full of people who wanted to absorb the rituals of what makes Costa Rica so special. There were games for kids, and plenty of art exhibits to see. What made the evening more meaningful was the music, which made everyone feel alive. The people where dancing to all forms of Latin music, from Salsa, Bacata and Meringue. The area was packed and filled with screaming fans. They sang along to every classic you can imagine, and they made sure they had there feet moving and their hips swaying. The place was jam packed with an estimated 20,000 people. Towards the ends of the night, the moment was captivated by fireworks to celebrate the closing of the festivities. All and all, I got a good understanding of what makes Costa Rica Pura Vida.
