Fun Winter Activities.... How To Build A Snowman

Wintertime is a time for fun, and enjoying the great outdoors, and get in touch with mother nature. What better way to do so then invent your own snowman. Most adults and children enjoy making their own snowman, especially when  to various shapes and sizes, here they can implement their own style. For the future, it can bring a smile to ones face , having the memory bank,  to recollect what they were doing during those times. For starters, make sure you have the right kind of snow, otherwise you can't  have a creation, and make sure the snow is hard and compact. Snowman have three parts, the bottom base, the middle body, and the head. Start with a regular sized snowball. Then begin rolling it through the snow, allowing the new snow to cling and make the snowball bigger and bigger. Keep rolling until it is the size you want for the base of the snowman, or until it is too heavy to roll, whichever comes first. The first snowball should be the largest. After the first one, roll two more, graduating them smaller in size. Place the next largest snowball on top of the base, then the last and smallest on top, to serve as the snowman's head. Now comes the best part: dressing the snowman. Traditionally most people use buttons for the eyes, but large black buttons work just fine. Add branches or large twigs for the arms, and gloves or mittens attached to the ends of the branches simulate hands. Add a scarf and hat to add character to your snowman. Carrots are traditionally used for a nose, but you can always improvise with what ever is readily available, even a colored golf ball or ping pong ball  looks great. Be sure to take a photo of the snowman surrounded by his creators.
