Future Project... Art School In Jamaica

One of my biggest ambitions in life is to have a place where youths can have the opportunity to share their passions and God given talent as artist. Right now, I´m in the beginning stages, of planning and organization my thoughts and ideas, so the dream can slowly develop and surly be possible. as they saying goes, nothing can be successful with careful planning and preparation, as I want this project to be a global phenomenon. The Arts school will be geared on providing the tools and essentials needed, so the children can live their long life dream, of becoming well rounded  artist, and meeting their goals,  while having the opportunity to communicate with others, in a cultural exchange program. With a little help and guidance, the dream can become a reality. The mission of the art school  is to provide creative solutions for young people through the arts, and offering programs in different areas of art, From clay, graffiti, chalk, photography, music, drama, theater, arts,  dance, and creative writing classes. The organization also have a Performing Arts Day Camp for youth ages twelve to eighteen years of age. This will ensure their development as individuals and artist. One of my other ideas, is to have a team of photographers, and videographers capture prolific images of their artwork, sharing their work via Internet. This will allow the artist to communicate and network their work while sharing and swapping ideas. My ultimate goal in the end  is to have have a network of art schools  in third world countries.  If you want to be apart of the cause and help young people fulfill their goals, please feel free to drop me a line. As they say, the bigger the team, the stronger the ideas. I will keep you posted in the near future.

Internatonal Space Program Available in 2015/Skydying from Space

Its crazy to think, that the international space program is thinking of having a space program available to the public in the year 2015. Just imagine, floating millions miles away, in the starlit universe, seeing our neighboring planets, wondering what our families and friends are doing on earth. Its awesome even thinking about it, because of the possibilities it presents, and what it does for technology and human evolution. Just picture being weightless, floating in gravitational less universe, thinking if your the only one that exist in this humongous universe, this will diffidently be one giant leap for mankind, especially thinking about the possibilities of having  colonies on the moon someday. I just recently read an article, about a dare devil, by the name of fearless Felix, who is about to do the unthinkable, by taking a hot air balloon into the stratosphere, then skydiving from that point, breaking the record and the sound barrier. If this is successful, it will mark a record, and put him into the Guinness world Books. I wish him the best of luck.

My Top 5 Painters Of All-Time

1)Vincent Willem van Gogh, His paintings and drawings include some of the world's best known, most popular and most expensive pieces. Van Gogh spent his early adult life working for a firm of art dealers. After a brief spell as a teacher, he became a missionary worker in a very poor mining region. He did not embark upon a career as an artist until 1880. Initially, Van Gogh worked only with sombre colours, until he encountered Impressionism and Neo-Impressionism in Paris. He incorporated their brighter colours and style of painting into a uniquely recognizable style, which was fully developed during the time he spent at Arles, France. He produced more than 2,000 works, including around 900 paintings and 1,100 drawings and sketches, during the last ten years of his life.

2)Pablo Picasso, draughtsman, and sculptor. As one of the most recognized figures in twentieth-century art, he is best known for co-founding the Cubist movement and for the wide variety of styles embodied in his work. Among his most famous works are the proto-Cubist Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (1907) and his depiction of the German bombing of Guernica during the Spanish Civil War

3)Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn. He is generally considered one of the greatest painters and printmakers in European art history and the most important in Dutch history. His contributions to art came in a period that historians call the Dutch Golden Age. Having achieved youthful success as a portrait painter, his later years were marked by personal tragedy and financial hardship. Yet his drawings and paintings were popular throughout his lifetime, his reputation as an artist remained high and for twenty years he taught nearly every important Dutch painter. Rembrandt's greatest creative triumphs are exemplified especially in his portraits of his contemporaries, self-portraits and illustrations of scenes from the Bible. The self-portraits form a unique and intimate biography, in which the artist surveyed himself without vanity and with the utmost sincerity.

4)Leonardo Da vinci, was an Italian polymath, having been a scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, painter, sculptor, architect, botanist, musician and writer. Born as the illegitimate son of a notary, Piero da Vinci, and a peasant woman, Caterina, at Vinci in the region of Florence, Leonardo was educated in the studio of the renowned Florentine painter, Verrocchio. Much of his earlier working life was spent in the service of Ludovico il Moro in Milan. He later worked in Rome, Bologna and Venice, spending his final years in France at the home given to him by King François I. Leonardo has often been described as the archetype of the "Renaissance man", a man whose seemingly infinite curiosity was equalled only by his powers of invention. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest painters of all time and perhaps the most diversely talented person ever to have lived.

Yoga........ Living a stress free life

Yesterday, I had the chance to try something new and different, and enter the world of spirituality, balance and focus. Along with a good friend of mine, Julia, 32 years old from Austria, She showed me various breathing and stretching exercises, which allowed me to channel into my inner self. she's been a student of yoga for the past two years. Going back as 5,000 years yoga is used for the means of detoxifying negative elements in the body that leads to stress and complications. Originating in India, Yoga is used as remedy that is used to cure the physical and mental aspect of the body, so you can control your breathing and emotions more effectively. Its teaches the awareness of the body. Being my first time, it was difficult for me to understand, because like most of people, we are not fully aware of the mechanism of how the body works. After 30 minutes of stretching and breathing exercises, I diffidently felt a difference in my mood change. Now I can see why, Yoga is something to explore.
